Grammar of the Geeks

Some feel good stuff from Infoworld.

There are some new words changing the way we interpret business discussions and translate business activity. These new words and phrase were created to provide better use of the imagination while discussing and analyzing strategies.

I liked them you may too.

Align business and IT
day sales outstanding
dehire - as oppose to 'ya fired'
disintermediate
helicopter vision
holistic

ladder the process

Apple Juice - an ode to Mac

I do not usually write much about Mac because I do not use one for work or play. This does not me however that I am not a huge fan.

I fall into the category of : hot for the look, scared of the price, don't want the grief of compatibility issues.

Mini Mac is a new thing. 499 is an extremely low price for anything that would call itself Mac or Apple. Mini Mac is a mini cpu that you attach to your own monitor and utilities. Of course for those that just like the software and speed of Mac systems this is good enough. For those of you like me who lust after the high tech look of a Mac system this only increases the desire to see prices drop throughout the hardware line.

I like what Tom Yager had to say about his Mac, "One day I'll tell you what similarly ridiculous things I've done to try to wreck my Macs, but they just won't wreck. As long as that remains true, I'll stay switched."

He thinks its pretty sexy stuff too. :) How about you?

Hello Camille Jacks. I came across your site while searching the web for related information. Although what you have is not exactly what I was looking for I still found it interesting. You definitely some good stuff to read! I was really searching for information or something about the reverse parking sensor. It's a safety device that every driver should not be without.

Hello Camille Jacks, I've just been playing Serious Sam 2 before getting down to do some research into shared hosting plan; on the whole I'd rather continue playing. First place I came to was Grammar of the Geeks so I've been having a good time reading your blog. There are some ideas that I could maybe incorporate into shared hosting plan to make it more useful. Thank you!
